run 24v + and - direct from batteries c/w megafuse as close to the + terminal as possible

Don’t know about the actors but on the Volvo I run them from the starter motor to save on wiring since it is already a permanent live and with HD cabling.
For how little you might use it andy put an isolator in close to source.
sorted,wired it to the jumpstart piont on chassis,thats already fused,made a neat job of it,no need to run cables to batterys,
