Hi folks.ive got a 13 plate actros with 2 24v sockets and 1 12v.does anyone know if the 24v ones are both 15 amps or is one less?problem is it keeps melting plugs off my kettle!cheers
I’ve got a 13 plate Actros. Both the 24 volt sockets are 15A, as is the 12 volt. That said, both the 24v ones kept melting the kettle plug too!!

Use to get the same problem with Daf,when I had the popular old red 24v kettle, change your kettle plug and socket to chassis type jack plug or connect a lead direct from electrics with a snap connector and change the plug connector to suit its all to do with the power being to much for the plug not the kettle
( smaller version of the grey connector often used on tail lift c forms)
