Accidentally pressed eject

tachograph:

Darb:
I eject mine regularly to show people my photo, we have a laugh then I put it back in, I worry more about whether our lass has put cucumber on my cheese sarnies rather than beetroot :grimacing:

I’m surprised your employer doesn’t have something to say about that if it happens regularly.

According to (Pages 145 - 146) Enforcement Sanctions Policy it’s an offence for both the driver and the operator.

So was removing an analogue tacho, but no one seemed to be bothered about a driver pulling it to check how much driving time he had left for the day.

Did the reverse of this a month ago. Parked late in segemoor nb. I was rushing to get in to pay and get my meal voucher before bk closed. I only pushed eject twice rather than 3 times so I didn’t go as far as getting my card out. Went and got food and a shower, thinking nothing more of my card until the morning, when I found my card had been on other work for 9hrs. Loads of printouts later, I realized that after a few minutes the taco will reset itself to normal mode rather than ejecting. Compliance man in the office confirmed this.
