Accident M6 Southbound Cumbria

I passed a serious accident this morning about 1.00 approx 5 miles South of Southwaite Services heading to Penrith.
A badly damaged tractor unit was in the trees lining the hard shoulder and looked like it had taken a heavy impact
There was a trailer on the carriageway facing the wrong way
Emergency services were there.
I do hope no one has been seriously injured
It looked bad

It was a cattle trailer with sheep all over the motorway. Was told that at Golden Fleece services.

It’s not good news I’m afraid…
