Just read a ‘public notice’ in the free local rag.
Says they’ve removed some of the central reservation barrier on the nearby dual carriageway for future ‘abnormal load movements’ to and from Blyth Harbour, Northumberland?
Now, Blyth Harbour does have regular big stuff coming and going, usually wind turbine stuff that has no problems with the road network…
But this time, it must be really bigger stuff as even BT have been about ‘measuring’ ALL the heights of their phone wires that cross the roads down toward the harbour too.
Does anyone else possibly know anything…■■
