Stay away from asco, they pay crap and if you go in through an agency they use u and when they don’t need you they get rid if you, thinking you will be there waiting on the phone when they need you again.

Plus as other fella said, you’d be best going a scotch speaking course as u couldn’t make out a work they say :smiley:

This, all of these companies are looking for drivers, Petersons have an advert outside waterloo goods yard looking for Class 1 drivers, CF Jennings at the truckstop are looking aswell, tbh if you can’t get a job driving artics in Aberdeen just now there must be something wrong with you as nearly every company has vacancies they cant fill.

Most of us after umpteen years of finding out the hard way about who to, and who not to, work for, and all we needed to do was ask on an internet forum where to go for the best job in the area and they’d be queuing up to spill all give it another page and a virtual job offer of £40k for a 40 hour week with a brand new 1000hp supertrotterxxlspaceglobelinewithabitmoreontop to drive will be hurtling through the ether.

Personally, I don’t see the problem, the guy is looking for a job, and quite rightly, he’s asking for local knowledge as to which companies are decent and which ones to avoid. Good luck to the op :sunglasses:

Mostly a driver shortage, there are companies who’s money is ■■■■■ but on the whole, the wages up here are pretty good.

come on chaps less about the Scottish speech it is the Aberdeen speech he needs to learn im Scottish but when im on the phone to the craibs traffic office I need the doctor who tardis translator to understand them
