I am recently a regular visitor to Aberdeen and I noticed that lot of cars are scattered along the shoulders - from the old Citroen Dispatch about half way between Perth and Stirling to the heavily damaged Vectra on the outskirts of Aberdeen… Some of them are damaged, some are all right…
Lot of them have police tape or stickers “police aware” on them… What is this all about? And why nobody cleans them?
The one at blackford in the big layby has been there for about 2 month with police tape round it 
Dont know maybe its ■■■■■ or summit they cars have just packed in and they leave them.
Wouldn’t be that difficult to lift the back end of that one at Blackford so it’s not parked at that angle in the lay-by.
At least I know where to start up a ‘wrecker’ business

and the blue Audi/BMW ? on A14 eastbound Bury st Edmunds , been there a while. Looks half tidy too…
The black one with the blacked out windows in a layby A90 before the kingsway going into Dundee and on the A9 going into Perth south bound same car same “sticker” luminous green “police aware” only seen as you pass it. I was and I slowed down really bloody fast . Don’t know the full story, other drivers think “I’m seeing things” this was over the last few weeks. The wrecked one’s don’t have a sticker and don’t move 
. And the gold colour Merc in a layby on the A9 I think it’s around Pitlochry has some poor bugger sleeping in it.

so its not my mind thats been playing about this car, the one near Blair Atholl that parks right at the wrong end of the layby everyday even when its empty.

Sounds about right and Blair Atholl is probably nearer the mark, I do nights so, it’s on the dark stretch.
I normally pass him about 7pm and hes there. youd think if yoru gonna sleep in your car theres better spots on the a9 to pick

i passed this morning heading north about 340am and definitely looked like there was a quilt or something in passenger seat.when i came back down about 930am it was gone.first time i ve seen it move in months.

hes not there during the day as i pass going north at about 2pm and he isnt there.
Can someone let me know if they see any 2006 onward model silver vectras abandoned on the A9. I need a front bumper for mine.
