How the hell is new blood supposed to get into the industry with crap like this getting in the way? It’s bad enough when companies themselves aren’t willing to employ newly qualified drivers but when they are and the driver is ready to start and then these office hitlers with no understanding and have more than likely never been in a truck get in the way! Makes my blood boil!

Just keep trying as some such as our lot will take you on with limited experience.

I know the feeling, spoke to one company last week who told me that for when i pass my mod 4 I still cant drive for them until i have the dcpc card come back despite me having a certificate to say ill have passed it. :unamused: its no surprise folk don’t want to drive for a living being mucked around by companies whose people don’t have a clue what theyre doing…welcome to haulage :laughing:

Just have to sit and bear with it mate, something will crop up eventually!
