Anyone had the pleasure of driving the A9 northbound diversion yet? I did last night, dearie me it’s not the best roads, tracks I’ve ever driven.

Ballachulish? Now that’s a diversion.
I live in the area. It must be leave Perth head West to Gilmerton go right through the Sma Glen and left after Amulree down Strath Braan and rejoin near Birnam. Check height of railway bridge near Birnam if you have a high vehicle.

It was Not the best A roads I’ve ever driven on
Always brings home how remote some of the Highlands will be when on Radio 2 traffic reports they’ll say a certain A road is closed and “its a 100 mile diversion.”
