Looks like there’s a bit of road widening going on. Lots of trees have been cleared and plenty of earth been moved so I assume there’ll be a road widening going on.
Anyone know any details?
Widening over 2 mile of it. Still s/c but with overtaking lanes. Due to done by Feb next year.
No doubt it’ll overtaking lanes like it is at Gatehouse of Fleet where there’s no central reservsation so not a right lot of use.
And that farce of an overtaking lane near the Shaw head layby. weeks of road works, but at least there is nice bit of of cycle lane now

No not much use when you want to pass a fully freighted truck up hill, when ya empty!
