I regularly drive along the A702 road towards Edinburgh leaving the A74M at Abington. Along the road there is a place name sign for ‘Wandel’ which stretches for about 2 miles but there is nothing there!
No buildings-nothing in between.
Anybody from that locality know why there is a place name for nothing?

not really, she stays in the centre of glasgow now so doubt it, though i used to stop in alot when i worked in edinburgh
