Seen the signs for the Appleby horse fair going up the other day, so better watch out for slow moving horse drawn ■■■■■ caravans, extra speed cameras, and watch your diesel if you park on that stretch for next couple of weeks 
or you couldcome into appleby and have a look at what goes on…spend a bit of money at the various stalls…have a look round the travellers vehicles,vardo’s,cobs they wont mind…theres always time for educating the gorgers…if you never been before, give it a try…
The last time I was in Appleby, I was the town traffic warden, so I was hated by the travellers and locals alike. 
It make sense of why I saw a horse drawn roll top caravan parked near the roundabout M180 J1 tonight.
