Sounds like a real mess on the 66 yesterday - saw pictures last night - 2 Argos trucks + 2 Army trucks one a artic the other a drag + 1 bulker.

I know they were moaning that it took 20 hrs to reopen the 66 - looked a real mess one Argos cab looked torn off the truck.
Apparantley another bad accident happened last Friday Night (20th Oct) on the Northbound A1 at Markham moor when a motorist stopped in the Northbound layby and crossed over to the southbound cafe, when he returned to the Northbound side at 8pm he was struck by a truck which left his decapitated body missing an arm.
The A1 was shut from 8pm until around 1am as a result, yet I’ve never seen any reports about it?
It beggars belief that someone could consider crossing that stretch of road when its as busy as rush hour.
