A650 Bradford 15ft6in bridge

HI some advice please
Going Keighly with 16 ft DD
On way seen bridge on canal road/A650, took 2 min diversion, but on way back noted a few DD going thorough! :open_mouth:

So is it marked up wrong?

Thought that bridge was 15’9. No big deal though because if you turn left just before bridge, and go up the hill to the lights and turn right you’re back on the road you need to be on.

Oh well, why not try it flat out? that’s what seems to be the idea these days. :unamused:

Similar to the 14’6 bridge on the A53 between Stoke and Leek. You can come off just before and go over the bridge, down the other side.

Damned if I’ll risk that with a DD.

If you turn left up station road immediately before the bridge and left again up the A6177 Queens road then right at the traffic lights (second lot i think) onto the A 650 Manningham lane your on the right road for Keighley and it doesn’t take any longer. I go that way often and the trailers only fourteen six .

That’s what I did yesterday but coming south was waiting for gaps to cross right.

Originally given map on Monday. M62 A58 A629 but so slow along with kids coming out of school. Same with returning to M62 via Ainley Top… 360 actros almost max weight

There’s another one on Bowling Back Lane off the other bit of A650.
You can get anything through if you steer centre arch.
