Not sure if its been mentioned by keep an eye out on A64 Westbound at junction with A19 near York. There’s roadworks on bridge with 50 limit then without warning drops to 30 limit with 2 cameras on bridge.

Already caused one bad accident the other week as everyone suddenly slams on.
I assume the camers are on now as the “cameras not working” signs have gone.
Yeah and there’s a bloody great speed hump on the bridge too that isn’t signed

By without warning you mean a dirty great big sign approximately 3ft in diameter with 30 on it which is at least 200 yards before the camera…
It drops to that because there’s a hump there where they’re running some kind of pipework across the road at the far end.

The speed hump isn’t a speed hump at all but a protective cover for the pipe running across the road.
Not sure what is going on but I’ve never seen that before anywhere. Must be a serious issue to require a pipe running across the road.
