Diversion is through a narrow back street of the village and you may struggle to get a lorry down it depending on how the cars are parked outside their houses.

The local news on tv reported it as a sinkhole.
Says they hope to have it done by Thursday 4th August depending on how much underneath has washed away 
Its done i think but road still shut. I got round ok probably because everyone was at work

It was shut this morning just before the A19 turn off at fulford , it looked pretty serious there was a van on its side
