Wonder if the driver will get a dangerous driving charge like the one who took the bridge down with the excavator.

I may have had a glass or two of wine but is that not a fire engine that’s hit the bridge?
I can see the snorkel and only blue lights? It says fire and rescue on the boom?

Looks to be part of a crane boom lying on the carriageway behind the fire engine and wedged in the gantry??

The photo is misleading.

What you can see is fire and rescue truck with a large cherry picker boom being used to inspect the damage done earlier by a crane that’s not in the photo. [emoji6]

Article says the crane was being carried by a vehicle so presumably a wagon? And what you can see in that picture is the boom on fire engine being used to inspect the damage.

Driver obviously never checked the height as everything along there is over 5 meters.
