A610 accident, 31/10

On our local news this morning it mentioned about the A610 near Eastwood being closed for several hours yesterday owing to an accident between a truck and a van. The 50 year old van driver has “possible life changing injuries” and the 40 year old truck driver was arrested “for drink driving and GBH with intent”. What does “GBH with intent” actually mean, could it have been deliberate then?

Pete.

usually Grevious Bodily Harm means that you went toe to toe with someone and kicked their teeth out.
the loser seldom gets a gbh against them.
possibly in this case it was mabey he knocked him down with the truck though if that was the case there would be sme motoring charge as well i would think?

It appears there there was a collision, no pics of it in the press or on tv though. nottinghampost.com/news/not … ng-2169241
