This is a long shot… In the late 1960’s when the Heads of the Valleys road opened there was a photograph of vehicles in a queue waiting to use the road…I believe this photo included the Dignitary cutting the ribbon. The queue included 4 of my late grandfathers lorries, and today we buried the 3rd of those 4 drivers. Would anybody have or have seen this photo… My uncle (the last remaining driver) would be so chuffed to see it again…

The Uncle in the photo is Peter’s brother Bob… I believe the others were my cousin George who we lost 10 years ago, Derek who we lost this week, and Ringo who died in an accident by the Blue Boar a couple of years after the photo was taken…Funny how funerals get to you
