Does anyone know how long the roadworks outside Alcester on the A46 are planned for, and more to the point why they’ve installed temporary lights when the remaining road is comfortably wide enough for two trucks, let alone cars, to pass? I pass that way on the way back from Worcester and two Mondays running, they’ve put those lights up causing queues in both directions yet it’s still two good size lanes. There’s surely a better way of making sure people can get out of that side turning than installing 3-way lights.
