A45 over turned container

I’m thinking the driver has entered the roundabout a little too fast, looking at the weather WET!! Breaking will have added especially if looking at phone or distracted in another way swerve to left to avoid a vehicle in front then try to correct with a right hand down only to have the trailers wheels clip curb and throwing the rig over. Looking at the unit to trailer, the trailer hasn’t quite hit the curb. Just maybe hope the driver is ok. Must be having a bad time just now.

No, he was going the correct way around. He has left the A14 at Thrapston and driven on the A45 for 3 miles when he has arrived at the roundabout in question intending to take the third exit and continue on the A45 towards Wellingborough (first exit is the service station, second is Raunds). He has successfully entered the roundabout using a little bit of left hand down, then on transitioning to right lock prior to exiting the roundabout, things have gone a little awry. It’s actually the junction of the A45 and the B663 (the A45/A509 junction is at Wellingborough, several miles down the road).

If it’s at the exit he was taking at that point ? he’s should be going from right lock to left.IE left on entry right to go round left to exit.

No, the thing has gone for a lie-down way before he started to straighten up and then move to left lock - it happened during the “right to go round” segment.

Possibly the pendulum effect after going from left on entry then to right around the roundabout maybe added to by some braking ?.The issue of slow speed roll overs, especially in the case of high C of G loads or bulk liquids, was rightly well publicised long ago in that regard.
