Someone must know something about this, been offered a cheap deal recently…?

i reckon after nicking a load like that then the thieves would be buzzing…
it dont mention that there was a substantial quantity of ■■■■■■ pills also taken…
police now say that they are looking for a gang of hardoned criminals

this dude looks a likely suspect though??

Impressive - only took them 7 weeks to appeal for witnesses.

Why would you park overnight in a layby with a million £ worth of stuff? That’s like walking around at night in London/Birmingham with a massive gold chain around your neck.

Inside job…

There’s something a bit fools and horses about all this.

He made a bad choice parking there. Should have picked up on the ‘bad vibes’ as soon as he stopped.

I lost all interest and sympathy with the driver when the words ‘overnight’ 'parked. and ‘lay by’ were mentioned…especially with a desirable load on. :unamused:
D/head or insider??

It was a container and despite what Chester says he probably didn’t know what was inside. Rocks Off doesn’t exactly give you a clue unless you’re a user!
However unloading a container overnight in a layby is not the norm. Would have thought the driver would have felt something or someone would have seen something. Only saying like…

There is a layby on the A43 where the cargo would come in very handy, so I been told

they might not have got in the drivers back doors so easily if he had used a ■■■■■■■■??

Maybe it was Chester checking in the back for load security

It doesn’t make any sense, The 2 laybys between A14 and Broughton are right against the road so there is no tree cover and how do you climb into a container and unload it without the driver knowing about it. The road is busy all the while, so in the middle of the night with the container doors open and unloading into a van would look slightly odd so how come no one raised the alarm? Got to be a inside job!

Even Cunliffe Drive has connotations

Bet the driver gets fingered for it

If he gets any stick for not having strapped the load, he could argue the cargo was a positive fit.
