A43 corby crash 4/9/13

.
Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision
that took place at around 1500 on the A43 on Tuesday, 04 September 13.

The collision happened between Corby and Geddington and involved a
white Scania cement mixer lorry. The lorry was travelling in from Corby
to Kettering when, for reasons as yet unknown, the vehicle left the road
and overturned into a ditch.

The driver, a 31-year-old man from Lincolnshire, was taken to Walsgrave
Hospital by air ambulance where he is in a critical condition.
.

My thoughts and good wishes to the driver and his family.

They mixers do fall over for a pass time don’t they.

I hope the driver makes a full recovery but surely the truck is facing the wrong way according to the road sign but it may have spun round while rolling over.

Poor sod. Road was still closed at 1800 last night.looks like it was just over the brow of the hill exiting Geddington sort of a blindfish bend at top only needs a ■■■■■■■■ to try and overtake something and your screwed, possibility
Thoughts with him

Wonder if he was wearing a seatbelt.
