Does anybody know how the driver involved in the crash on the A42 this morning is? Have to say it didn’t look too good when I went past this morning.
Serious leg injuries apparently
Always sad to hear of drivers getting injured. Appears to be a DAF from RMS Group Humberside.
I thought it was a Scania 
Not that I stared for too long. When I realised he was still trapped I averted my gaze. Glad to read he survived cos it really didn’t look good.
He’s on for RMS out of Goole, and it was a DAF
He was released from hospital yesterday afternoon with lots of bruises and stitches to some deep cuts, but will make a full recovery.
One very lucky fella, and he knows it.
Glad to hear he is going to make a full recovery, i too passed the scene on the opposite carriageway air ambulance was on the tarmac with what looked to be a stretcher partially out of the door, and the crew attending to the driver, looking at the mangled wreck the unit was in i feared the worst for him,
