A419[again]

the last post was on cyclists using the A419,the other day though driving on it again and I saw a hgv parked on the left, half his vehicle out on the live lane,so of course you think hazards going broken down,i indicate pull out into the second lane and as I am around 300 yards from him he cancels the hazards and pulls away so not even broken down just parked for a few minutes,so as I said about cyclists all it takes was one motorist not paying attention and the hgv would have been rearended, why he parked there when about 100 further there was an exit into a bus lane and road where he could have parked safely,do not understand the logic of some drivers

Checking directions , map etc

Checking directions , map etc

maybe but still having his vehicle half out on a live lane is seriously dodgy, particularly when as I said there was a safe pulling in point 100 yds further

there are a lot of ejits about; A couple of days ago when walking down the street I noticed a car parked partially on the road, partially on the pavement half way round a roundabout. Artic struggling to squeeze past, woman sitting in drivers seat engine running talking on mobile phone. A few minutes later she passed me driving along the road. So had she stopped mid way round a roundabout to take a phone call… Ejits.

+1

Plenty of foreign drivers seem to park in the most stupid places when lost. I’m sure they do it so they can wave their delivery notes at drivers stuck behind them.
