I have a delivery tomorrow to Broughton Business Park, Little Chalfont. The route I have is to go in on the A404 from the M25. I will be 14’ 6" high and looking on Google there’s a 14’ 9" bridge on that route. I know technically I should be able to get under it but the thought of only 3" clearance puts the old heart rate up.
Has anyone been under that bridge whilst 14’ 6"?
Cheers
You’ll be fine with a 3" clearance as in reality that’ll be like 6".
Went under one today with 4 inches clearance, must admit I slowed down a bit
Are you for real, It says 14"9 you are rolling at 14"6
Why should you be so worried ? The clue is in the advised bridge height, 14"9, which in actual fact is probably higher. and you are running under it 3 inches lower. Just get on with it
I was running 14ft. 37last week and had to run under a 14ft 4" next to FerryBridge power station. Crawled under neath it and dropped some air out of the suspension.
Bit unnerving to say the least but got through with non issues.

That’s the maximum safe height, crack on even at 14’ 9"
Watch out for the speed camera as you go down the hill approaching the bridge. It’s a 30 mph zone, and being downhill you can easily creep over - especially if your mind is on the bridge ahead.
