Just when you think highways muppets have played enough jokes lately they come up with this as they reckon its “urgent!!!”.

What with this and the farce between J8 & J7 its beyond a joke and shutting the A38 completely all weekend while the kids are off is going to cause chaos.
To be fair, it could well be urgent.
That entire concrete mess around Junction 6, that’s old enough as it is, is having to deal with far more traffic than it was ever intended to handle & has done for the past few decades. It’s starting to fall apart and needs repairs, better they close it completely at weekends causing short term disruption than drag it out for months/years over weekdays trying to keep the road open.
Just when is a good time to do repair or maintenance work
Do it during the week people moan,do it on a weekend people moan,do it when there is minimum commuting they moan,do it on a Bank Holiday they moan,
do it when there are no kids going to school they moan.There is ALWAYS somebody going to have a problem,somewhere.
If you know whats going to be on use your brain AVOID the area, its only your fault if you get snarled up because you ignored the warnings
