A38 night closure Derby area?

Does anyone know if the A38 northbound is closed near Derby tonight please? I’m going from Lichfield to Middlesborough tonight leaving Lichfield about 20:30. Thanks.

Yes there was a diversion still on

Would love to see the day drivers cope with all the road closures us night drivers do from Avonmouth - Washington last night I had 5 diversions nut hey we deal with it

Trying to get from Oxford to Hull the other night. Usually go a43/m1, but both were closed. A45 was second choice, but that was closed. A42 was closed so decided to go a5/a38, but both of them were closed too! I really don’t know who plans these things, but I take my hat off to them.

Anyway, that a42 diversion isn’t too bad (at 3am anyway), only takes about 10 minutes.
