Ten days ago two people died in a head on crash with a Morrisons truck. Last night two more people died in a collision between a motorcycle and car. Motorcyclist and car driver both died. Thoughts go to all families concerned.
Last night’s crash was with the junction of the A36 and Codford High Street. Diversions set up by the Police via Chitterne and then back to Knook to pick up the A36 again. Copper said there’s no height restrictions but there is a weight limit but we’re not bothered if you go through that. The road up to Chitterne was okay although too narrow for two trucks to pass. Came face to face with a lady tipper driver. Anyway, apart from being a nice looking lady and nice to look at she was great in the fact that she reversed back to a pull in to let me pass… so if you are on here by any chance, many thanks for that.
Obviously going through this diversion there was a few cars behind me who were delayed a bit but in general everyone was okay and accepted we’re all delayed a little by the events on the 36…except for one brain dead Richard Head driving a Fiesta who thought he’d overtake the line of cars and me with a car coming the other way. We both had to brake to give this knob space to get in and off he goes in is own arrogant little world.
Even after encountering road closures through crashes some idiots still have their heads buried up their own backsides.
