That will be fun going through Battle then, I expect the Mountfield and Whatlington level crossings will come into play.

That’s how I knew about the problem, I have just come through Battle! With Christmas shopping events it’s causing havoc.
It will keep a couple of Mick Gould’s wreckers busy for a while!
They should just leave it there until a quiet day like Christmas Day then recover it. Not like it’s obstructing anything after all.
Should we have a “Stobart oops of the year” thread?
No doubt driving on the limiter then ■■■■ himself when another truck came along also on the limiter.
I may be wrong as I don’t know the exact point as to where he crashed but I know certain points of the A21 can be pretty tight particularly at speed.
Also I swear there is a firm that has some like US style recovery trucks on the road they look like the type that could pull the titanic off the ocean bed.
Don’t quote me on that though I rarely use that road.

That’s the one. I often slow down driving past them to get a good looksie.
Update:
The A21 is closed for at least 2 hours whilst the truck is recovered…
it can be a bad road to follow
with some narrow points one wheel on the edge and away you go

At night yes, but this was during the middle of the day.
