A17/A1 junction @ Newark

Hey All,

Thought I would post re the above junction! How many of youa totally jarred off with exiting the A1 southbound and struggling like [zb] to get on to the roundabout (doughnut for the older ones of us on here!) to head south down the A17?

Is it worth starting a petition and sending it to the chief of Notts County Council to try and get it improved?

Whilst we’re at it(if we’re at it) how about trying to get more dualling on the A17 as it is a ridiculous road considering how busy it is!

I’m happy to lead the charge, just wanna know how many and who would back me!

Its very hard to get onto there if you are fully loaded, I find you have to judge a car thats coming round slowly and pull out infront of them allowing them time to slow down otherwise you would die there.

I used to hate it, and go down to the next junction (The old A17 one) but I think there’s a weight limit on
