A15 north Lincolnshire

I have to say with all the recent off roading that’s been done on the A15 I am always extra careful along there.

I was heading back to Immingham today from Hatfield and was sat at 50 for most of it but there are certainly places where 50 felt too fast. Saw countless examples of poor overtaking though. Not difficult to see why so many incidents happen.

I got passed by a group 5 or 6 bikers on double white lines. The last one hung back and decided to pass me just before the speed camera so cut in front and hit his brakes…I nearly spilt my coffee on my laptop … The selfish git!!

There’s no such thing as a dangerous road!

Well, not on these shores anyway, aslong as you drive to the conditions. No good chucking a 44 tonnes tound bends as though you’re in a sports car…

both A15 north of lincoln an A15 south to sleaford Notoriusly bad roads they have been for many many years yet successive councils etc refuse (or dont get the funding) to do anything about it except put cameras in very little road improvment over the years A15 north of course is ermine st so maybe digging up all those roman artifacts would make it too expensive to make into dual carrageway as it is a main link to scunthorpe and grimsby and hull it really should have been done years ago yet another example of non joined up thinking in this country

It is a dangerous road. Third most dangerous road in Lincolnshire as off 2014.

Or simply bad driving??

Roads don’t move, they are there and that’s it! If in doubt slow down or stop!

Sometime driver hit tree’s but talk who it is trees fault but he is right
