I spoke to them on your behalf, and they assured me you won’t be held up going down, but it might affect you trying to get home for steak dinner on Friday.
Shut between 29 and 31. Diversion is J24 (godmanchester) a1198 to the 428 and onto the m11 at j13. Other direction is the reverse. Be aware, m11 is also closed southbound from birchanger services.
No idea if the a1 is also closed, but it probably will be.
A14 is usually shut from M6 to J2 if you coming from that direction after about 9pm

New A14 is a trunk road, not motorway so to keep the cost down, direct from cheif engineer at a local meeting
