cant work out which lay-bye it is yet but im off that way later today.
A similar thing happened at the M1 end of the A14 a couple of years ago . I believe the car driver pulled off the carriageway but hit ice in the lay-by and went under the parked trailer . I just hope this won’t lead to calls for closure of lay-by’s by the H&S Gestapo and hope the driver of today’s incident recovers .

Hiya…this has happened near jct15 at Stoke. the laybys have been closed. about 8 drivers have gone under the back of parked lorries in the last 5 years.this layby is only yards from a roundabout. they must leave the roundabout and think they’ve gone into the faster lane.
after returning to what they think is the slow lane … is the layby lane.

Went past this, this morning, although it was dark im shocked the guy is still alive, didnt look like a car next to the truck.
