A1139 Peterborough Specs Cameras?

Hi all.
Is there specs cameras on the A1139 Frank Perkins Way between junction 5 and 4?
My satnav speed camera database says there is?
Anybody from the area or has driven that way recently confirm yes or no??

Hi Winters, there are 40mph average speed cameras between the junctions both ways while they work under the bridge.

yes specs between the 2 junctions, e/b is down to one lane but w/b is 2 lanes :exclamation: :exclamation:

depending on which way your going or were your destination is you can by-pass the roadworks during the day as the traffic soon builds up, just follow diversion for WIDE LOADS is still dual carriageway and you save a lot of time :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

The reason I ask is that my mate drove through there last night around 04:00 (westbound) and said that he was short on time and put his foot down to get to the A14.
I told him that the were specs on that stretch and he didn’t believe me.
I showed him my satnav with the warnings.
He said that he saw no speed warning signs or cones.
He said that he saw some roadwork signs that were folded over not showing warnings.
He is now worried that he has got a nip in the post.
Maybe roadworks \ specs not applicable during the night on that stretch?

i have been through at 4am and the specs/speed limit signs have been in operation, but i have also been through when the signs were folded over and kept to the 50mph limit for trucks and have not heard anything, as long as the speed limit signs were folded over and he wasnt travelling at warp 9 :sunglasses: :wink: he should be fine as i’m guessing the specs prob switched off as well :question: but dont quote me.

west bound hasnt got any roadworks on it, only the e/b has got the roadoworks on it but w/b does have the speed limit signs but no cones i remember correctly
