Long time no see Ian, I remember you as a young apprentice fixing a radio for Brian Hannon one of the Parrott crew. The radio would only work if you had the headlights on. Happy days. Do you remember misery guts Bert Spencer the workshop manager? One dinner time a sack of cloth/ wipes were delivered so Ian Big dunc and keith decided that for the afternoon all the fitters would make an arab head dress out of the cloth wipes, When misery guts came back from his dinner he looked at all his new arab crew shook his head said they were all mad and went to his desk and sat with his head in his hands for about half an hour.

Hi Keith. It’s been a long time since we last met,i do a lot of fishing our kid and he still talks about a one. Do you still remember when i took you down to hungary and you wanted to do as much driving as possible. I bet you don’t say that now. That trip took us two weeks, but we enjoyed it. lol.

Hi Kieth. Those pictures you put on the site are realy good,so i wondered if i could get some photo’s over to you could you put them on here for me. I got this laptop for christmas last and i am still learning how to drive it. I would be grateful if you could do this for me… Alan.

Hi Alan, Great that you have joined us. Didn’t think you had a pc? When we met at Terry Leighton’s funeral, you gave me your daughters adresss  Glad you have joined the 21st cent!!! You mentioned Bob Stafford. What a ccol guy he was. Very quiet and understanding. Didn’t he used to go to ROUBAIX to collect CASE TRACTOR CABS
Me and Jack Graham have at last managed to communicate and will be meeting very soon to see if we can get a reunion with all our workmates together. I am sure you must be able to tell us all, some REAL exciting story’s from your “continental driving days”. (I know I can  ) DRY GINGER (Stuart Sugden)

STEVIE NEWBOULD and DENNIS GLOVER at the A ONE reunion at Steve’s Pub, Queensbury.

I have been readng some of the comments but not all, but at the moment I will stay on the sideline’s for now
Dennis will probably know who Iam, just a very interested bystander, please no inconsiderate remarks of past employees
life is far to short, (forgive the pun) Jack that Wild Turkey is dynamite.

Youre right Lookingin, life is too short for acrimony. Must admit my abiding memories of my 13yrs at aone(chapmans) was a good time working with some really great people, one and all, now tinged with sadness for those whove passed on.

Remember, Remember going up and down the old MONT BLANC road and seeing this being built? And thinking, there’s NO WAY you were going to go on THAT road

Hi Jack. I found a great photo of your Joanne standing in front of your wagon in spain remember. I have also found some photo’s of jim capel -Denis Baker-Martin Jackson, and a few more.
