Hi There All you A One Truckers.
Long time no see. When I saw my old f88 (WUG 267s) I had to make contact!
I remember “ell of a length” John Carter and used to take “Ginger” home many times.

Nice to see your comments Jack. Still trying to get more enthusiasm from our friends for the next reunion. I wish i could do more to help. (Please contact me soon)

Hi anyone on this page, I have for reasons of health decided to give the reunion a miss this year, I hope I didn’t get too many exited at seeing us all again this year, but I like everyone else am getting older, and while the mind is still alive and working the body isn’t following the brain, so sadly it’s off this year, but if anyone wants to do it I can give them all the info I have regarding contact numbers and some email addresses of drivers, but I need to rest this year, so sorry but I’ll try next year if I can get the body to go with the brain. Regards to you all :-Jack Graham. :frowning:

Sorry Keith, I didn’t know they were your photos. I hope you didn’t mind me posting them. I’ll buy you a Pint one of these days.

Just a small input Jack,if we take it out of Bradford a lot of the lads my not come, getting home ect,i know we put our selves out but they may not,but they do not come on here to ask, just me thinking aloud and getting the lads to come, keith

You may be right Keith, that’s why I’d like more input from everyone, I do know that lots of you put yourselves out to go to Bradford, I do the same from Bedale, it takes me over an hour to get down from up here in fact there are 2 of us from up here who always get bed-n-breakfast when we come down, but any comments are gladly accepted before we decide on our next plan. :-Jack. :unamused:

there is the MILL LANE club at the end of fitzwilliam st i see they have a function room no idea if they charge or not .you cant get any closer to the bradford depot

Hi John, it’s looking a bit sad in this thread now, not many using it any more, but still nice to see you keep looking in, it never came to me about Fitzwilliam Street club, had I thought about it before I could have looked into it, may-be next year could be a possibility and the location would be on the door-step too, but I’ve given in for this year, it’s too late to start again getting all the info together and contacting everyone, it would be an idea to pop into the club some-time to see how they think of letting us use it and the area is on the door-step.
Just to let anyone know I have not given in on this page, and if you want to meet a couple of us next weekend, Dave Smith and Billy Parky and myself were at Elvington airfield, it’s a record weekend over 2 days Sat & Sunday, I’m helping a friend take the 3 wheeler over 200mph to take the British record up from what we did a couple of years ago, we have a few guy’s coming from the US to try themselves, we already have the fastest woman in the world on her bike, she took her record up to 264.1 mph last year so will be a great weekend for you all, and camping is allowed for the weekend. Kind Regards :-Jack Graham.

Hi Paul,i think the phot belongs to the new owner after jack robinson sold it,sorry do not know who that is,some one on here may tell us,keith

A three wheeler doing 2oo MPH! That is some going. Reminds me of a Robin Reliant which had smashed into the wall on the road from Shelf down into Halifax. The only 200 was the number of pieces the Reliant had turned into !!

If I come across more pics on facebook I will post them to this site, regards Paul.

Well Maxhagar, we didn’t get to 200 mph on the 3 wheeler, as usual the gremlins were messing about inside the engine but we did take 2 records, we lifted the existing record to 171.1 average British National, and the Bonneville class record for 3 wheelers to 180.7, when the head gasket gave in and knackered the job, but the bike is capable of 200 mph, we had the gearing for 220 mph, but taking into account the engine is bassed on a 1958 pushrod 4 litre V8 with no turbo and no nitrus oxide and running on avgas mixed with unleaded, that is quite a feat, and we are the fastest 3 wheeler in this country and possibly Europe, but it will be out again in a few weeks at Santa-pod doing demeo’s, so if your interested join us next time at Elvington with Dave Smith and Billy Parkinson, well keep you updated with dates. Jack. :smiling_imp:

I wasnt riding the bike Keith, I was crewing for my mate but if I could get my leg over again I would be sending it down that runway myself, because he’s not too bothered who rides it so long as it goe’s well and get’s the speed we look for, but I do know that machine every nut and bolt that holds it together, so next week we will have the engine out to give it a rebuild and check everything to make sure it’s only the head gasket that’s blown, and stick some new piston rings in just to be sure and give the valves a regrind, because the last time we had a major blow up it cost £10,000 to rebuild it, because nothing in standard in a full blown race engine and it cost’s to have the right parts, but if your up for it I might be able to get you a ride, “that’s if you have the balls”, we have the fastest woman in the world who rides with us, her top speed is 264.1 mph which was last year, and her first run this year was a bit slow, 263.7mph, and she dont have balls cos she’s a woman.
