maxhagar:
Drove over to visit my mums grave at weekend, finished at the cemetery and drove down Birks Fold to Cemetery Road, astonished to see that AIS has been demolised,it used to be a large concern with lots of wagons. Going on Northside Rd Henry Longs has vanished also just a new small industrial building on the site.Drove down Legrams Lane to Ickringills Mill and the Boots Depot has gone as well. Talking to an old friend who told me its happened all over Bradford, H Hey at Bricklane Mills has been burnt out and abandoned for a few years. At least the Italian Cafe at Legrams Lane is still open! Bradford it seems has died and long since buried.
yes max its had its day only people making money and buying every bit of property are the brown fellers they bought all the closed down pubs they no pubs left on leeds road not 1 they bought all mills land houses all threw drug money they have taken over now they have about 12 haulage company now round bradford if they dont get planning they just burn the building down and get away with it. See you all at the reunion
Hi Maxhager/ Bradfordlad, It makes a mockery of our for-fathers, the way they dragged this country up after fighting 2 world wars and built it for our benefit to give it all away to the ones we fought to keep it free from, so we could bring our kids up without being frightened of walking down the street without fear of the idiots who roam our streets today, thanks to idiots who run the country and gave it away to Brussels and we had no say in anything, and that’s also is why we are outnumbered by foreigners who are taking the place over, mostly by illegal means and as normal we cannot do anything about it, I’ll get off my soap-box now. Regards :- Jack.

Shame nobody took notice of Enoch Powell, the man was right.
Les.
What do you mean nobody took notice of Enoch Powell, “we all did”, it’s the powers in Westminster who didn’t and they don’t even listen to us now but we still carry on voting them in, “why”, silly thing to say really because we are only Joe Public so what do we know except to do as were told and follow the rules that the fools in power make, I have no doubt Enoch will be sitting up there laughing and saying “told you so” but you wouldn’t listen to me. Jack.

hiya,
As you say Jack, Joe Public admired and listened to Enoch, it was the powers
that be that didn’t heed his warnings, there’s only one MP in the same mould
and that’s Dennis Skinner and if some of his glass backed so called colleagues
in the Labour Party took a leaf out of his book the party might just might just
begin to be a force to be reckoned with, pocket liners the lot of them.
thanks harry, long retired.
Archie Paice:
Let’s choke the whole lot of them off. Vote for Nigel Farrage, UKIP.
I do vote for him, have done for a few years but the other parties are slagging him off to discredit him because there frightened of him taking over there seats in Westminster, even looking into his home life and picking bones to put voters off from voting for him, but they wont change me because not one of them is squeaky clean in there personal lives, there all as bent as a 9 pound note making themselves rich from public money, if we had been caught fiddling expenses at work like they do we’d have been jailed long ago, but in there job they have rules to get them off. :-Jack

Is it the age thing or are we all just grumpy old git’s, one thing for sure we think the same and love to get on our soap-box when it comes to what’s happened to the country in the past 50 years, at least we have the experience to know what were talking about, and we didn’t have to answer to foreigners in every aspect of our daily lives like we have today.
OK now I’m back on my soap-box again, I’ll sign off, :-Jack.
Well this has started the minds working of us older British people that remember when Great Britain, was great, and not full of people who don’t give a dam where they live so long as they can sponge money from a government that gives our money away, and when we want a genuine claim we have no chance. sorry to rant on about this on TN which is supposed to be truck related, but as Maxhagar said earlier Bradford is knackered, as are a lot of British cities, so this relates back to transport and industry, we have certainly been lumbered with this fraternity, worst luck if anyone should be resurrected it should be Enoch and get rid of the ■■■■■■■■■ yes men we have now. ok I’ve done I can get stuck into my curry now.
Les.

Hands up who can remember a time when the only immigrants in OUR country were Polish airmen who flew with the RAF during the war
Happier days

Well I suppose logically we are all immigrants, or certainly descendants of. The thing that buggers this country up nowadays is the amount of Grants that are dished out, most of them unfairly. That’s why we are in the state we are. There should be either proof that you have worked in this country and paid up your Tax and Insurance properly. Or in the case of a Foreigner, proof that they have enough means to carry them through the next six months at least, including any other members of the applicants family that are entering with them. Housing should only been given to people that have a proven record of having been in employment for at least two years, before even being considered.
Well we have George Galloway here now with … wait for it … The Respect Party. When did George or his voters ever respect our way of living or our laws ffs. When George actually won his vote he thought he was standing in Blackburn not Bradford ,we`re all doooooooomed
Ho boy I would get band from this forum if I spoke my mind on the green boys if you know wot I mean stink of shxt, and no way of English thinking keith
Now now Keith careful what you say!there will by spies everywhere waiting to send you to the gas-chamber, we need you on here to keep the forum going and there will be nothing I can do about it from Jacksonville FL, one thing for sure we speak the same language. Jack.
