I worked in the workshop at the time they got the Steyr, it was an odd looking thing at the time, I think it was G reg and the regular driver of it was Eddie Foy . He liked it . I had a go in it and it went well

Well guy’s I’m now back on line, computer fixed with a new hard drive, dumped my printer/coppier/scanner and bought a new one, it was cheaper than buying another set of inks, the inks cost £34, a new printer cost £29-99, dont make sence to me, the guy at Argos asked me if I wanted to take out insurance cover for another 2 years, I said dont make me laugh pal, if I get one year out of it I’ll just get another £29-99 one, it’s cheaper.
So my new email address is :-grahamjack683@gmail.com, so there’s no excuses for not keeping in contact, I’ve had a couple of calls asking me about the reunion this year, but had to tell them it was off this time due to no interest, but i will be doing it again next year in case any-one is interested and fingers crossed we will have a good turn-out, I know some of you will but the rest need to have there arses kicked into life for next year so we’ll have 2 years of news to catch up on, just keep up the good work Keigh and the few who still keep the page open, and remember that the next reunion will be for every-one who knows of any-one who has interest in A one Transport even family members who still like to keep up with the news, I’m off the Jacksonville FL on the 4th november for 6 weeks, “just thought I’d let you know” especially because the winter will be setting in over here and I’ll be in my shorts untill 16th december, then back to reality for christmas, so have a great Christmas you guy’s, and a hapy new year. Respects to you all :-Jack Graham.    :smiling_imp: :grimacing:

when is the reunion jack

Sorry “Bradfordlad”, gave it a miss this year because no-one showed any interest, but even if there’s only 3/4 of us I will do it again next year, sadly I had a couple of phone calls asking the same question in the past few weeks, but usualy I and Stuart Broughton started organising at least 6 months in advance so every-one could let me know if they could come due to holiday’s etc, this was because of ordering the food which Stuart did via the land-lady, so keep posted and I’ll arange it next year. Regards to you all :-Jack

I never knew harold had a twin brother until one time when i was working with him overhauling one of the mercs engines. We needed some parts from northside trucks, id only recently passed my car test and harold couldnt be bothered going so he sent me.So off i went and collected our engine parts, as i was loading them into the van i saw harold (or so i thought) In northsides workshops. I set of over to see him thinking he moaned like hell about going and sent me so why has he come over? Only to be told " i’m les harolds twin’ I used to hate it when harold was setting the tappetts he’d have me underneath constantly turning the engine with a screw driver, i used to stop turning telling him my arms were dropping off only to be told in an angry voice “TURN THE F*****G ENGINE” Good old days  Just like you keith i got a bollocking for turning the radio from 2 to 1 while he was at the stores, he went mad!

I remember that day you came back from ats with those balance weights on his wheels keith  watching JT kicking the wheels as you sped off was so funny! Do you remember when he used to come in ■■■■■■ up on a saturday and stand in the middle of the yard facing into the wind to try and shake off his hangover  He used to complain about the noise coming from the trailer shop radio and one time he’d had enough and smashed it on the skip side then threw it in  Bloody hell we had some good times when you think back, these days it’s so boring :frowning: Do you guys remember the asian lad who worked in the sheet room? Someone threw a cs gas cannister in there one day and blocked his exit with a sheet, he scaled down the outside wall  i think it was kenny deegan

It was KD that gassed the lad in the sheet room and i gassed JT while he was on the Khazi :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

Also tied the hose pipe to the fork truck and squeezed the end so it sprayed well then stuck it through the upstairs windows to get him after he locked the door. Didn’t they call him Tariq ■■
