Well said I agree with you 100pc when will people realise when its time to stand up for what they have worked for all their life, before its too flaming late. Regards Larry retired from the goog old days. Which no doubt are gone forever…

Do me a favour “keith 2” save me a seat on the same bus that your catching I’m a bit sick of it too, not getting out of it only because of old age, could have done it years ago but missed the bus, story of my life.

Tomorrow is a sad day, it’s the end of an era, I just hope I see many of A One there, I know there will be quite a few drivers there, and also hope to see many of the staff to give him a good send off, it will be a sad world without him, and transport will never be the same again. :frowning:

yes jack it will be a sad day,got to start early tomorrow at silly o,clock so i can get there :frowning: .all the Md’s at crossroads who jack dealt with are no longer there, but Md’s know how much he spent on Volvo’s and are very kindly sending some flowers which shows they do not forget old customers  this is also a good firm to work for.better go to bed :frowning:

DRY GINGER:
I well remember seeing Jack swinging his number five iron club as he walked down the yard. Hitting a stone which went straight through a cab window! He was well liked and will be sorely missed.

Likely where my garbled tale about the man smashing a windscreen because of flags and stuff started out, which got Dennis so animated many moons ago on here  RIP to the man

Vastley Experienced was given that nickname from an A One driver ,the very funny and sadly missed Shaun Hollis
