Thursday approx. 5pm southbound Newark A1 2 youths stood on the footbridge looked as if they were going to give me a “blow your airhorn mister” sign but in actual fact threw stones down at my truck hitting the front grill.
I just thought I’d warn everyone but most people have probably experienced it anyway. I rang the police who said they would send someone to see if they could find them but we all know they probably won’t. Luckily no real damage except for small scratches but it could’ve been a lot worse and I was very annoyed as I drive a 6 month old magnum and I keep it mint.
Similar thing happened to me earlier this year on the Pitsea flyover, few kids threw eggs at the motor from the side off the road. Didnt do any damage, stopped the BP just before Tilbury split to wash screen and grill down, takes a little bit off elbow grease to get it off ounce it has started to dry. I guess its just another one off those life things, although could be a lot worse.
