Look lads don’t gloat, you know what this means, where are those scum Diesel thieves going to get their free fuel from?

They’ll have to put a claim in to the road builders for loss of earnings.

I noticed last night they where all coned off ,i also noticed that one truck was behind the cones in the layby so presumably he had shut his curtains before the cones where put out ,be a nice surprise for him when he wakes up  .The other thing is what are the drivers supposed to do ? most of those laybys are full at night so where have the drivers been parking ?.They are coned off for five days

Many years ago I pulled up for the night at silly o’ clock one Friday night in one of them big, off the road laybys on the A50 near Uttoxeter and went to bed. Imagine my surprise when I woke at 9 the next morning and ALL the traffic was using the opposite carriageway due to roadworks!

As I picked my way around construction equipment the site foreman started shouting and bawling at me for not having flashing beacons! Quite why a nitric acid tanker would be in there with no orange lights obviously never occurred to him.

I counted at least 12 trucks parked in the coned off laybys on Monday evening, not long before the road was closed at 8pm.
And those laybys are coned off through the day as well!
