A1 driver training in kitts green/brum any good?

A1 driver training in kitts green/brum any good■■? anyone else got any thoughts/reviews on the company/training

My cousin did his c with a1 and failed said there training was average for the £££s he passed second time but with ctt wolverhampton over fetherstone. I am from the west midlands and did both my c and c+e with ctt Wolverhampton too passed both first time IMO fetherstone test centre is better than garretts green, not saying you are more likely to pass but IMO the training and test area are better.

Garretts Green has closed and that was the advantage that the training companies had who operated close to them

Not saying that those who are based well away from test centres are either better or worse but if the test centre is well away from the training base then it could be that the only way it now works is for them to do 2 to 1 all day training unless they have some other alternative

With the DSA closing quite a number of LGV test centres they have been accomodating with other options but that usually means the training schools having close access to their own reversing area

Sorry wasn’t aware garretts green is now closed is this recent??

Leicester or Weedon are probably about the same distance timewise

nice one rog, i’ve managed to get some finacial help with funding & i’ll be training with a1 so putting my all into getting my licence,i think i know where the weedon one is

this has been two years or more getting to this point but the ball is rolling, passed my medical, got the provisional, i should have had my hazard & theory done in feb but had to fly abroad for a funeral the day i was due to take it so that postponed things a bit :O/

i’m revising like its going out of fashion so hoping to pass my theory/hazard by at least halfway through next month hopefully sooner!

i think i have to do module 1&2 but i could do with some info on that as i’m clueless, i know its sorta based on the theory which i’m pretty good at so if the latter is the case i should be ok

sooooooo excited i have the oppertunity/prospect of getting my cat c & all being well apparently i may get some more help with my c+e aslong as i pass cat c so that would be a BIG big bonus

the biggest thing i’ve drove on the road is around 23ft long recovery truck (■■■■■■ van based) off road isa john deere tractor, but off road you have space & no idiots so to me it dont count!

so the ball is rolling…hopefully in my direction for a change which would be nice

If you do not already have a LGV C1 on your licence by either passing the C1 test or by passing car test before 1997 then you will need to do imnitial driver cpc madules 2 and 4 in order to drive LGVs commercially

You can do theory modules 1a 1b and 2 on the same day at the theory test centre

Common sense, theory book and the driving goods vehicles book will get you through module 2

Rog you do not know what you are talking about!

Tests are being conducted at garrets green. The vosa site is closed but tests are being conducted over the road at the dsa’s own site which will not close anytime soon.

It is still possible to book tests at Garretts Green as Burnie says- maybe Rog has look on line and seen a Closed LGV test centre in the same location.
