Anybody know anything about closure of A1 @ Newark this W/end ?
I’m told there is a sign on N. Bound slip from A46 jnc saying A1 closed 8pm 19th - 6am 22nd … is this just N. Bound carriageway ? Is it closed all the way to 5 Lane Ends / Worksop Jnc ?
Assume diversion is across A617 towards Ollerton … then A614 to A1 @ 5 Lanes End. 
Any info appreciated got to go down to Spaldingski Sat & Sun from N. Yorks.

Doing roadworks on the new bridge after Markham moor - diversion via A617 to ollerton then 614 up to 5 Lanes end - best route to keep trucks out of Retford - Northbound only seen the sign - not seen one southbound - guess they are tarmacing the new road and slip roads northbound.

If that’s the case go through Retford anyway it probably won’t be busy 
continuing work on bridge and slips at elkersly bettween markam moor and 5 lanes end
