When I had the diff failure with the Oryx F89 they towed me into the Volvo dealer in Nis. Oryx head office, being Volvo dealers, got a new diff sent to the airport in Beograd within a couple of days but the garage people refused to go and pick it up. Too far it seemed. So after some negotiation they agreed to lend me the company van but I had to go to the airport to pick the thing up.
What they lent me was one of these;
What a beauty! It had a two stroke petrol engine and a three speed transmission operated by a column change! Still it got there and back and driving it was no more difficult than dealing with the Yugoslav Customs.
