A woman, a BMW and snow

flat to the mat:
Gauntlet is thrown by the daft old git.Put me in a BDG ■■■■■■ compared to your choice of Quattro and I’ll watch you in my mirror,on any surface
Now STFU and take your tablets.

Rally spec, rear wheel drive,BDA/G ■■■■■■ (less than 300 horse) versus rally spec, four wheel drive Audi Quattro S1,(400 horse +) on any surface and you say that I’m daft. :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :laughing:It’s just a shame that the regs for historic rallying would’nt let me blow your doors off even if we had one of each respective motor and even if I had the relevant competition licence to drive it.But having said that I’ll probably be taking the TWR V12 powered Jag out for a ‘run’ in March down to the Geneva motor show.Last year I did that trip starting at 10 pm in the evening got down there before the doors opened spent most of the day there and got back home again before 8 pm and that was using the boat not the tunnel shuttle.

Although again, he does have a point with the Audi, walter Rorhl was said to have driven around the gravel perimiter of Hockenheim while F1 testing was being done, remember in those days the F1 turbo cars were putting out up to 1400hp in qualifying spec, old Walter was lapping a second or two off the pace of the front runners and he was taking a longer route :open_mouth:

I love a fast Ford, but the Audi S1 was the ultimate rallying machine, ugly as [zb] though, especially compared to a Mk1 BDA in white and blue :sunglasses:
