This made me feel a bit better after getting stuck in front of a low bridge. Realised that reversing another 50 to 60 metres up the road was not an option with the amount of inconsiderate drivers intent on just ignoring me almost blocking the road and insisting on proceeding at all costs!!!
After a couple of phone calls including “just drop the suspension a bit…” I realised my best course of action must be to drive on the pavement to swing round with 1 shunt…

Did he forget it wasn’t a 30 foot trailer? when you jacknife a trailer round that tight it actually moves backwards a good few feet, surely anyone with some experience would know that?

I would of took me chances flat out under the bridge .less damage

What a prick the guy taking the video is, he could have gone over to the driver and told him he would back up if the driver wanted to back his trailer up so would have more room to turn but no, he sat there like a prat getting a good video to show on Yousuck

id blame the most likely automatic gearbox,but luckily the driver was dressed head to toe in hi viz ppe.
it could have been fatal if he wasnt wearing it.
On the plus side my linked suggestions when I watched this got me some rare footage of you out in the wild…first clip I believe…full ferry mode…
