I’ve been planning on doing my C and C+E for a few years now and as i have just been made redundant there seems like no better time to get it done
Thanks to finding this site i just saved myself a lot of money and probaly a lot of hassle by avoiding a broker company which i very nearly handed over 3 grand too!
I wont name them but they’ve come up on here a few times in the past, Instaed i’ve gone with a trusted local training company and although it means a struggle to fund it outright at least i’ll get it done right!
Pleased you have taken some notice of all the advice that has been posed
Did you find a local trainer from the vast list we have on here but this depends where you are & will they be sorting out your medical Theory HPT & do you need to do the initial dcpc are they given you an assessment drive although this could be more to your benefit sorry but I am the nosey ■■■■■ on here
Good luck with it but remember that it may not be easy to find a job within the industry due to a few company closing also there are a lot of experienced drivers out there looking for work also the 2 years experience that they like you to have ( this is not new as when I left school over 30 years ago they wanted you to have all the qualifications & experience ) & the over 25 this is more the insurance company policy though

I found it through HGVLGV Training. They where very helpful in explaing it all to me and it sounded a lot more realistic that what i was promised from the broker, everything is included and taken care of including an assesment drive and for a lot lot less of my hard earned!
All the training is done at there own grounds with there own vehicles and instructors on a 1 to 1 basis.
Looking forward to getting stuck in now when i get all my documents back from the DVLA
If you are happy with them good but you could always visit other providers in your area & talk to them go for an assessment drive with them see which 1 you like best & suits you
Good luck with the training & DVLA ( very sore point with me )
