My mate has just sent me this image … I reckon you will still have to hand your keys in to some jobsworth …
And a susie lock.
looks like an accident waiting to happen
I see it’s a left ■■■■■■- what country was that in?
I think this looks even worse!
Acutra are from La Belgique
There used to be some joint at Magna Park years ago where you dropped your trailer onto something that looked like a weighbridge plate, which then lowered, like something out of Thunderbirds until the trailer bed was level with the warehouse floor.
Genius.
Expensive genius.

They have the same at Glyndebourne opera house
Don’t think that would work in rdc’s here because you would still get some dimwit that wouldn’t uncouple from the trailer and then wonder why his bosses £100000 fh is dangling around in the air.

I thought if this idea for offloading DDs quicker on a normal dock, the bubble bursts when I remember what country we’re in, along with the red tape & BS that goes with it.

Set height of the 2nd floor inside.
That second one looks like an accident at a multi storey car park. A bit like that old Athena poster of a steam train that punched through the station and landed on the street below.
As an experienced forklift driver, the creaks and groans of driving a 2/3 tonne forklift into the back of a trailer stood on its own on a normal dock (no unit attached) once you get to the headboard end I would not like to go anymore than halfway into that trailer especially the DHL one !

Imagine if the floor was wet and you skidded and went through the curtain
I was loading a reach truck onto a wagon once and it went through the floor, the seat was surgically removed from my ■■■■■■, and that was at three foot high…sod that
