ok first things first , here is the latest what car , make and model ■■?

i am in a spare truck for this trip , mine is at the body builders being repaired after my last attempt at france :laughing:
day 1
after being loaded the night before i set off from the yard for a garage near deal and drop off 5 cars that have come from europe on our other trucks , these cars are insured with direct line . after getting them off its not long before im munching on an egg and bacon stick while waiting for a train . getting off at calais it only seems like 10 mins and im on the outskirts of lille in a place called marquette-lez-lille loading a side swiped ford cougar


getting onto the a1 i finish the day off parking in the secure part of vemars .
day 2
leaving dead early im heading into central paris , rue archives in the 3rd district , after checking with the boss im told its a big street with loads of room for parking so when i eventually find it im not suprised to be in a one way street on the pavement having a row with a dustcart driver (do i do the ham sarnie one :laughing: , no its toooo early for that)
the owner of this car is fully insured BUT didnt give them dates of when he was going to paris . now he has to pay for the repatriation and repair of his car



fighting my way back out of the centre i find myself on the famous periferique

heading down the 6 for dijon i get a call , go to bordeaux so a bit on nationals i join the 10 at orleans and finish the day parking near bordeaux
day 3
leaving the 10 just north of bordeaux and 40 or so km on D roads i get to coutras and load another side swipe , a jag this time

tom tom says 762km till next one . so its across the 89 and eventually getting on the n79 then the a6 i head north onto the 31 and park 50 km short of dijon
day 4
north of dijon and im loading a merc in is-sur-tille

now its a straight run back to paris and the periferique again

across the 13 to a place near le havre called honfleur where i load this

from garage terrier

over the pont de normandie

an hour and a bit later im in dieppe booked on the 10 pm crossing
day 5 back to the yard to tip and reload thats another trip finished , this peugeot 206 was there

Is it a Subaru Forester, enjoyable read as usual but some of the images aren’t

Don’t know what the car is, anything made in the last 15 years might as well have been made on another planet!

hi harry , i know what you mean mate , when i got the uplift notice for this one i had never heard of the model , i phoned the boss to get an idea of what it was and he thought it was something completly different to what it turned out to be :confused: .
